The mission of NCSBY is to promote better lives, through better choices by youth, caregivers, and professionals for healthier responses to and prevention of problematic sexual behavior of youth. NCSBY provides national training and technical assistance to improve the accuracy, accessibility, and strategic use of accurate information about the nature, incidence, prevalence, prevention, treatment, and management of youth with problematic sexual behavior. The project included a complete redesign and migration of their Drupal 7 website to Drupal 10.x., updated layouts, new functionalities, and a complete content audit and rewrite by our team. A unique application to monitor the cleanliness of the entire City proper including parking lots, beaches, waterways, boardwalks and public areas with assessor guidance & mapping


Miami Beach is the city with white, sandy beaches, turquoise waters and an over-the-top cultural scene which attracts millions of visitors to its world-famous shores each year. As one of the most livable cities, it boasts of being a 7-mile island destination that offers many of the finest dining and resort experiences anywhere. Miami Beach has 44 public parks, two public golf courses, two tennis centers, an uninterrupted Beachwalk from one end of the city to the other, multiple community pools, and even an ice rink for those who miss winter.

As one of the world’s most exciting cultural destinations, the city places a great deal of emphasis on the cleanliness of its public places. Looking for an IT partner that could create an easy to use, easy to scale, easy to maintain custom cleanliness monitoring application – they turned to the team at Neumeric. Working collaboratively with the city’s team at the Department of Organizational Development & Performance Initiatives we created a tailored web application that allows the city assessors to review, report, photograph, index, and track the cleanliness in all of the city’s public spaces including beaches, boardwalks, parks, streets, alley’s, parking lots, trolleys, and public rest rooms. The application not only routes and schedules the assessor’s daily activities (on a 24/7 basis) but allows them to input tailored data and indexes on a variety of forms, add comments and photographs, and send the data directly to the different city waste, maintenance, and public safety departments responsible for the city’s cleanliness and public safety.

ReCovid

A customizable native mobile application to monitor, track, report, and disseminate health related information to the user community


How do you safely reopen 68 schools and administration buildings during a pandemic? Cincinnati Public Schools needed a solution to track and report the health status of over 37,000 students and 6,700 faculty and contractors. Our team developed an intuitive web and mobile application to monitor Covid-19 cases, facilitate two-way communication, and provide real-time data. Collaborating with CPS's IT, Health & Safety, and Administrative Departments, we created both a web based and mobile platform to manage the daily health assessments of all students, staff, faculty, and contractors, provide alerts and comprehensive reporting for the District, Cincinnati, County, and the State agencies.

Neumeric  provided both the web based and mobile application to the Cincinnati Public Schools District at no charge. Neumeric also offered the ReCovid applications and support through the Pandemic to any public sector entity at no charge. ReCovid was adapted to support local, state, and federal agencies and was used by both private and public sector clients through the pandemic.

Detroit People Mover - Transiting a Outdated X-platform to a PWA

Transiting an Outdated X-platform to a PWA, updating a D7 to D10 site and providing M&S services


The team at Detroit People Mover were looking for a partner that could update and support their outdated Ionic mobile application and Drupal 8 website. After reviewing their current Ionic application and the update/upgrade requirements it was quickly determined that a Progress Web Application (PWA) was a better more cost effective option. Upon completing the website’s  update from Drupal 8 website to Drupal 10, our team created a dynamic PWA application that user services, launched the download icons onto their website, and removed the outdated mobile application from the play stores. By tying the PWA analytics into the web application we were able to increase the amount of key user information to enhance agencies marketing strategies.

Palmdale Water District


Since 1918, Palmdale Water District has provided high-quality water at a reasonable cost to the residents, businesses, commercial and agriculture customers in southern California. PWD was having an issue connecting to and providing information to their mixed bag of clients; residential, commercial and farming. Needing a complete design, navigation and functionality update our team provided Palmdale with a series of research-based design concepts which lead to a new design for their home page and interior pages. In addition to providing PWD with a new, modern, engaging, unique feel to their website, we optimized the website, updated and added new functionalities including a real-time bill estimator, an interactive chat bot, an online in-person lobby booking and scheduling feature, departmental calendars and events, integration with their current 3rd party payment provider, an ADA compliance user interface, an interactive FAQ, widgets and an advanced search function across the website and database.

The State of Washington Department of Retirement Systems


The Department of Retirement Systems serves a diverse population of more than 330,000 Washington public employees, including firefighters, teachers and police officers.

DRS administers one of the most complex public retirement systems in the country, comprising 15 plans across eight individual retirement systems, and administers the state’s Deferred Compensation Program. ADS Advanced Drainage Systems


Our team created more than just a native mobile application that provides ADS client field personnel a means to compute various construction and site indices for on-site material usage and water management. The app calculates drained acres, required pipe diameter, pipe quantity, project slope, and costs. It also determines the lift station size and configuration using the integrated ADS G.R.O.W. Analysis tool. The app saves calculations with unique site names for easy reference, works both online and offline, and is accessible on all mobile devices.

ProperKey is an advanced US-based mobile and desktop custom app currently in use by multiple municipal, County, and State healthcare departments throughout the US. The application provides a platform to inspect, bid, award and monitor HUD rehabilitation and related building projects. It provides healthcare and municipal agencies with a means to ensure and monitor project, landlord, and vendor compliance to the HUD, local, and State standards for the rehabilitation of low-income properties. Utah Department of Commerce -Enforcement Division


The Utah Department of Commerce – Enforcement Division faced multiple challenges with their outdated Securities Transaction Registration & Enforcement System (STRES). Their application was written over 20 years ago using Progress, an outdated language with diminishing support services. The Securities Enforcement Division needed a complete modernization away from the Progress platform to a new.Net platform while at the same time overhauling the entire application, improving security, enhancing its functionality and UX/UI, and a engage with a team to provide ongoing support. Our team redesigned and modernized the STRES application using the Microsoft .Net stack, migrated all of the existing and archived data to a new SQL database, and collaborated closely with the Department to deliver an efficient, secure, and feature-rich system on time and on budget. The University of Houston Downtown is an urban university with 15,077 students and offers bachelor’s degrees in 46 areas of study and 10 master’s degrees. The University is located right in the heart of Downtown Houston, one of the nation’s most culturally diverse metropolitan areas.

Neumeric is currently building a totally unique customized Experimentium website that combines the U of H various Chemistry Departments resources, curriculum, and experiments into a new single open to the public website. The purpose of the site is to allow any educator and student to pull existing chemistry experiments and curricula together, customize the course work directly online without downloading or saving the course work, making adjustments directly the curriculum to their specific needs, and downloading and printing the updates directly online. Users can quickly search and filter through the available U of H resources, pull their materials, adjust, and find resources without having to create a username.

ReCovid - Custom app


How do you safely reopen businesses, schools and public buildings during a pandemic? In Q4 2019 our team recognized the need for a Covid-19 web and mobile application to monitor Covid-19 cases, facilitate two-way communication between users, employers, and public agencies, and provide real-time data. In early Q1 2020 we created and released both a customizable web based and mobile platform that would easily manage the daily health assessments, provide alerts and comprehensive reporting to and from City, County, and the State agencies.

Throughout its release and the pandemic Neumeric provided our ReCovid applications and support to any public sector entity at no charge. ReCovid was adapted to support local, state, and federal agencies and was used by both private and public sector clients through the pandemic.

Battery Park City Authority

A comprehensive maintenance, support and development project with ongoing support services


BPCA was looking for a partner to provide comprehensive support services for their custom management application. The application was created using outdated technology and required a complete update.

The Challenge: How to efficiently manage the internal web-based application for fiscal services within the Battery Park City Authority community.  BPCA is a New York State public benefit corporation whose mission is to plan, create, coordinate, and sustain a balanced community of commercial, residential, retail, and park space within its designated 92-acre site on the lower west side of Manhattan.  Their system was outdated with poor functionality and usability and limited support services available.

Our Solution: After a focused discovery and code review phase, the team at Neumeric updated the platform, redesigned the key lading pages, added new functionalities and reporting capabilities and we currently maintain and update the internal BPCA management applications.  A few of the enhancements that the NTC team made included an update of the codebase from an outdated platform, the redesign of the key screens, the update and redesign of the consolidated and deficiency reports and adding new functionalities. Neumeric currently has a multi-year contract with BPCA.
